To vote in Wisconsin you must first register to vote. You can start the registration process online at My Vote WI:myvote.wi.gov. You can also register in-person at your local municipal clerk's office, with a special registration deputy, or at the polling place on Election Day.


This year you must have a current state approved photo IDA State of Wisconsin Driver License , A State of Wisconsin Identification Card, Military ID card, A U.S. passport or a Certificate of naturalization, Indian tribe Identification card, A Wisconsin accredited university photo ID UW-Superior ID cards are acceptable. Some restrictions may apply, contact your local county clerk's office for more info.
